Approximately 25 law enforcement personnel from Lebanon Police, Mt. Juliet Police and Wilson County Sheriff’s Departments conducted another criminal warrants sweep of some of Lebanon’s high crime areas on Tuesday night.
Officers had warrants for 32 persons who have been charged on a range of offenses from parole violations to harassment. A news release from the Sheriff’s Department said 14 of those individuals had been arrested, and 18 arrest warrants had been served. Citations in lieu of arrest were issued in several other cases.
The news release added that the operation began at 6 p.m., Tuesday and lasted about four hours.
The arrests included one parole violation, three probation violations, one violation of conditional release, one harassment, two driving on revoked/suspended driver’s license, one possession schedule IV controlled substance, six failure to appear, one simple possession marijuana, one for a warrant from Overton County and one for a warrant from DeKalb County.
“The number of persons arrested is expected to increase as other investigative leads are followed,” the release said, adding the operation was “another round in the co-operative effort by law enforcement agencies in Wilson County to proactively attack the gang, drug and violent crime problems in ‘high crime areas.’”
Sheriff Terry Ashe noted, “All of the law enforcement agencies are very serious about this continued effort to regain control of some of our high crime areas.”
As of Wednesday morning, those arrested in the sweep are the following:
• Aurelio Rivera Barrera, 26, of 420B Hobbs Ave., Lebanon, violation of probation, bond set at $7,000• Mario Rivera Barrera, 21, of 420 Hobbs Ave. Apt. B, Lebanon, violation of probation, bond set at $9,000• Shada Rena Carter, 21, of 31 Upton Heights, Lebanon, violation of conditional release, hold with no bond set• Lindsey Elizabeth Doak, 24, of 117 Cedar Wood Drive, Lebanon, harassment, bond set at $1,500• Scotty Dale Farmer, 32, of 11 Sykes Road, Hickman, TN, parole violation, hold with no bond set. Original charge was 8 years aggravated assault and reckless aggravated assault.• Kenneth Peter Lewis, 26, of 3078 Big Springs Road, Lebanon, driving on revoked license, bond set at $1,750• Derrick Michael Logue, 26, of 1548 Benley Drive, Murfreesboro, probation violation and failure to appear, no information regarding bond• LaBradford Edward Neal, 19, of 143 Upton Heights, Lebanon, possession of schedule IV and failure to appear, bond set at $2,500 on possession charge, hold with no bond set on failure to appear charge• Anthony Jermaine Odum, 31, of 205 Stroud Drive, Lebanon, failure to appear, bond set at $2,500• Hank Paris Richardson, 35, of 2437 Dickson Lane, Cookeville, warrant from Overton County, no information regarding bond• Randall Wayne Stafford, 44, of 150 Buckingham Lane, Lebanon, four charges of failure to appear, bond set at $6,494• Alfredo Mota Villalobos, 18, of 233 E.
