2 shot, killed in SW Wilson

By JENNIFER HORTONThe Wilson PostAuthorities continue to investigate the shooting deaths of two males that occurred Tuesday afternoon in southwest Wilson County.    Sheriff Terry Ashe said the incident occurred on a dead end road on the west side of Stewarts Ferry Pike about 75 feet into the Wilson County line around 2 or 2:30 p.m.He said one male was found dead at the scene in a vehicle that crashed into a creek, and the other male left with some other individuals and he was found dead on the side of Hobson Pike about 4 miles away from where the other victim was found.Ashe said two females were in custody and were being interviewed. Investigators were looking yesterday afternoon for third person who was in a white SUV Blazer with drive-out tags.“This is a very complicated double homicide scene,” he said, adding he could not release a motive at this time.The sheriff said one of the males was white and the other was black. One of them was 17 years old and a student at Antioch High School and the other was believed to be in his 20s.“We are looking for the vehicle that dumped the body on Hobson Pike,” he said.The bodies of both victims were transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Nashville for autopsies.The names of the two males were withheld pending notification of next of kin.Ashe said he hoped to have more information available on Wednesday.Editor Jennifer Horton may be contacted at
