NASHVILLE -- Baseball Hall of Fame relief pitcher Rollie Fingers congratulates Lebanon High senior Chase Andrews after he was awarded the $2,000 Stephen Langston Scholarship from the Nashville Old Timers Baseball Association at the annual banquet Jan. 21 at the Nashville Airport Marriott.

In 2005 Langston was an All-State infielder for Nashville Overton High School and was to become a member of the Belmont University baseball team before his tragic death.

Andrews has complied a 4.25 GPA at Lebanon, has scored a 27 on the ACT and plans to play baseball in college.

The organization has presented scholarships to worthy area high school senior baseball players of more than $350,000 over the past 16 years.
