Goodpasture 8, Watertown 1
WATERTOWN -- Goodpasture struck for three runs in the top of the fourth on the way to an 8-1 win at Watertown Thursday afternoon, April 20.
The Cougars collected 11 hits off Watertown pitcher Alicia House, who went the distance and struck out three.
Jada Moss, Kaleigha Carter, Ridge Morgan, Baile3y Griffin and Lauren Webster all singled for the Lady Tigers.
WHS is scheduled to host Westmoreland in a 5 p.m. game Friday, April 21.

Friendship 11, PJP II 0
HENDERSONVILLE -- Kennedy West threw a neat five-inning two-hitter Thursday as Friendship Christian School throttled Pope John Paul II by score of 11-0.
West struck out five and issued just two walks as the Lady Commanders improved to 15-7 on the season.
Annalise Jarnigan slugged a two-run homer while Bryce Dabbs and Sydney McCormick had two hits apiece.
Bayley West, Hannah Alexander and Lindsay Adkisson finished with two runs batted in apiece.
FCS is scheduled to play at Nashville Christian School saturday, April 22 at 9 a.m.
On Monday, April 24 the Lady Commanders visit Smithville to take on DeKalb County High in a 4 p.m. contest.

Portland 12, Lebanon 8
PORTLAND -- Host Portland erased an early 3-0 lead with six in the bottom of the first in Thursday's 12-8 home win over District 9-AAA rival Lebanon.
Brianna Nagelhout belted a three-run homer in the top of the first for LHS, only to see Portland counter with six in the bottom of the frame, then add one in the third, three in the fifth and two more in the sixth inning.
The Lady Devils cut into the margin with five in the top of the seventh, but it was a matter of too little -- too late.
LHS (12-14-1 overall) rapped out 16 hits including three each from Anna Bennett and Brittany Harris and four Nagelhout.
Anna Smallwood and Addison Fuller split the pitching duties with Smallwood being tagged with the loss.
The Lady Devils will be back in action Monday, April 24 as they visit Beech High for a 5 p.m. game with the Lady Bucs.
