CHUE Science Club invites community to Keepin It Green

Some members of the Castle Heights Upper Elementary Science Club – 18 girls, to be exact – decided not enough was being done to solve the global warming issue and they took it upon themselves to change that.

They have planned called “Keepin’ It Green,” a Community Earth Day event to be held from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, in the gym at the school. It is free and everyone is invited.

Inside Lebanon City Budget

Lebanon City Council is currently dealing with the same problems everyone faces at budget time.

First, the council has to know what the city is obligated to pay out, and that’s what they told City Commissioner of Finance Russell Lee at their work session Wednesday night.

The councilors asked Lee to return a “stripped budget” to them before their next work session set for 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 23 at City Hall.
