Bill Eubanks, 65

MT. JULIET -- Private services are planned for Mr. Eubanks, 65, of Mt. Juliet. A longtime pharmacist for Walgreens and a member of the Unity Church for Positive Living, Mr. Eubanks died May 26, 2008.

He was the son of the late, Troy and Eunice Eppinette Eubanks. Survivors include: his wife of 38 years Pamela Sampognaro; son Brian (Jill) Eubanks of Monroe, LA; sisters Pat (Carrol) Worthen and Pauline (Sam) Steadman and brother-in-law Kevin Sampognaro.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Unity Church for Positive Living.

Arrangements by Bond Memorial Chapel, N. Mt. Juliet Road and Weston Drive, Mt. Juliet.

Lawrence H. Bowman, Sr., 83

LEBANON -- Funeral services have been scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, May 31 at the JC Hellum Funeral Home, 107 Stokes Street, for Mr. Bowman, 83, of Lebanon.

Born August 27, 1924, Mr. Bowman died May 26, 2008 at Skyline Medical Center.

Family visitation will be held 2-3 p.m. Sunday with the funeral to follow. Brother David Meek will be the Eulogist. Interment will follow at the Bowman Family Cemetery, Lebanon.

Linda Bain Parrish, 63

LEBANON -- Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, May 30 at the Sellars Funeral Home, Baddour Parkway, for Ms. Parrish, 63, of Lebanon. Ms. Parrish passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2008.

The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home Friday from 10 a.m. until the funeral.

Services will be conducted by Brother Tommy Willis with interment at Bethlehem Cemetery in the Tuckers Crossroads community.

Mose E. Carthane, 78

LEBANON -- Funeral services have been scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, May 31 at the JC Hellum Funeral Home, 107 Stokes Street, for Mr. Carthane, 78, of Lebanon.

Born October 10, 1929, he passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Lebanon’s University Medical Center.  Family visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 - 1 p.m. with funeral to follow.

Bishop A.J. Valentine will be the Eulogist.

CU LADY ‘DOGS BENEFIT -- The annual Cumberland Women’s Basketball fundraising golf tournament has been scheduled for Friday, June 13 at Hunters Point. THURSDAY CLINICS AT HP -- Hunters Point Golf Club has scheduled five Thursday clinics for golfers of all abilities. * June 12 – Full Swing & Pitch; * June 19 – Full Swing & Lob; * June 26 – Full Swing & Power; * July 10 – Chipping; * July 17 – Putting. Cost for juniors is $12 per session or $50 for five. Cost for adults is $17 per session or $75 for all five sessions. Flexible membership packages are available. TWO-MAN SCRAMBLE -- Hunters Point Golf Club will hold its annual Two-Man Scramble June 28 and 29. Entry fee is $220 per team (if paid by June 27) which includes a practice round.
