Bible Park USA has taken one giant step closer to locating in Lebanon.
Lebanon Mayor Don Fox and Wilson County Mayor Robert Dedman joined Robert Wyatt from BPU Holdings to announce Thursday afternoon, that Lebanon has been chosen as the site where the park will be built.
The $175 million park is to be constructed on a 113-acre tract fronting on I-40 between Cainsville Road and Tater Peeler Road.
Wyatt also said the park would employ 250 people full time and would need about another 1,000 seasonal employees.
Fox noted that college students from Cumberland University and Middle Tennessee State University could help fill the seasonal slots, and that the 250 full time jobs would help lower unemployment in the county.
