LEBANON – Funeral services have been scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 3 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mrs. Westmoreland, 81, of Lebanon.
Born June 24, 1927, in Clay County, she passed away June 1, 2009, at the Pavilion in Lebanon.
Mrs. Westmoreland was the was the daughter of the late Edgar and Willie Emmerton Sherrill. She was a cook in many local restaurants over the years and was a member of the Mt. Juliet Church of God.
Visitation after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Services will be conducted by Brother Todd Elliott and Brother Danny Sellars. Interment will follow at the Conatser Cemetery.
Survivors include: children James Richard (Trish) Westmoreland of Dixon Springs and Carol Anne Westmoreland of Lebanon; grandchildren Jeff (Lisa) Denson, Christy (David) Taylor, William D. (Jennifer) Westmoreland, Joshua Wayne Ricketts, Melinda Marie (Joshua) Nichols and Jonathon (Ashley) Westmoreland; sister Mary Rose Hilton of Celina; brother James Sherrill of Cottontown; 13 great grandchildren; and a great, great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Dee Westmoreland on October 26, 2002; son Johnson Edgar Westmoreland; and brothers Major and Mack Sherrill.

MT. JULIET – Funeral services were be held Sunday, afternoon, May 31 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Ms. Goodman, 67. She passed away May 28, 2009.
Services were conducted by Brother Oran Collins. Interment followed at the Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: children Scott (Machelle) York Hamilton, Shannon (Megan) Hamilton and Jennifer (Tommy) Cryer. Also surviving is sister Brenda (Johnny) Oliver; grandchildren Hope Hamilton, Scotty Hamilton, Emma Hamilton, Ellie Hamilton, James Black, Rachel Black, Hannah Kephart, Zach Kephart and Eli Kephart.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Goodman; parents Eldred and Dorothy Choate; and sister Linda Sue Hicks. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet was in charge of arrangements.
MT. JULIET – A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Mr. McGuire, 60, of Mt. Juliet. Mr. McGuire passed away May 31, 2009.
Visitation with the family will be Friday from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 pm. Services will be conducted by Rev. Joy Vorhees.
Survivors include: wife Liddia McGuire; mother Jessie McGuire; children Larry Brian (Amy) McGuire, Brent Ellis McGuire, Stephanie (Tom) Cavanagh, and Stephen (Shannon) Mistich.
Also surviving are siblings: Wallace (Geri) McGuire, Sherlie (Porter) Waller and Kathy Sue (David) Snowden; grandchildren Rylee McGuire, Christian Mistich, Andrew Cavanagh, Lauren Cavanagh and Isabella Mistich; uncle Comer McGuire; aunts Irene (Ernest) Deering and Frances McGuire; nieces and nephews, Brandi (Chris) Kennedy, Brandon Kemp, Kim Waller, Robin (Brian) Tunstal, and Marty Waller.
Mr. McGuire was preceded in death by father, Jesse McGuire. Memorial contributions may be made to the Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation, Odyssey Hospice or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Services were conducted by Brother Danny Sellars. Interment followed in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include children: Jo Ann (Albert) Buehler, David (Bonita) Martin, Ray (Joyce) Martin and Jerry Martin; siblings Bobby (Faye) Murray, Hubert Murray, Glen Murray, Raymond (Joyce) Murray and Eugene (Jean) Murray.
Also surviving are grandchildren: Danny (Tina) Davis, Jeremy (Lindsey) Mosley, Stephanie (Eric) Russell, Matt Martin and Adam (Sarah) Martin; and great-grandchildren: Brittany Russell, Mackenzie Russell, Brayden Martin, Abbi Martin and Sophie Mosley.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
She is preceded in death by husband Neal Martin, son Wayne Martin, daughter Billie Jean Martin, grandson Shane Martin, parents Willie Roy and Alta Presley Murray, and siblings Wilberta Dies, Francis Cox, Dora Locke, Anne Lee Brewington, Shirley King, Jack Murray, J.T. Murray, and Tink Murray.
