Charles Owen Morgan

LEBANON -- Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, June 7 at the Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway for Mr. Morgan. He passed away May 31, 2009 in Las Vegas, NV.

The family will be receiving friends Saturday, June 6 from 4-8 p.m. and on Sunday from noon until service. The chapel service will be conducted by Brother Kenneth Bowen. Interment follows in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include siblings: Teresa (Becky) Pope of Nashville, Ricky Morgan of Florida, Butch (Angie Hooten) Morgan, and Cindy (Ronnie) Dunsavage; father Tommy Morgan and mother Betty Fish Morgan of Lebanon.

He is preceded in death grandparents Alton and Ann Fish, John Morgan and Clara Belcher.

Pallbearers: Sammie Raines, Doug Raines, Jimmy Raines, Jerry Baty, Caleb Dunsavage, Vernon Raines, Scott Bowen and Kenny Bowen. Memorial contributions may be made at Pinnacle Bank.

Charles Seay, 77

LEBANON -- Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Friday, June 5 at the Lebanon Church of God for Mr. Seay, 77, of Lebanon. He died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Quality Care Heath Care Center.

The family will receive friends Friday at 11 a.m. at the church. Services will be conducted by Bishop A.J. Valentine with burial at the Mt. Lebanon Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: wife Vera Hackett Seay; children Larry Seay, Cassandra Shaw, Angela (Ben) Saddler, Barbara (Rev. Gerald Davis), Crystal Seay and Donna (Ken) Ward.

Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister Ethel Gail (Peter) Brown; sisters-in-law Mainell Cragwall and Faye Acklin; devoted niece Lynn Butler and man other friends and relations.

Mr. Seay is preceded in death by parents Jim and Pearl Seay; and siblings Mentlo, Howard, Benton, James and Rose Seay.

Disyal Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Katie Pearl Townes, 77

MT. JULIET -- Funeral services have been set for 11 a.m. Saturday, June 6 at the Mt. Juliet Church of God for Mrs. Townes, 77, of Lebanon. Mrs. Townes passed away June 2, 2009.

The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon Friday, June 5 between the hours of 3 - 8 p.m. Visitation at the church is from 10 a.m. until service.

Services will be conducted by Brother Danny Sellars. Interment follows in Spring Hill Cemetery, Madison.

Survivors include husband of 18 years Johnny Townes; sons James (Patricia) Johnson and Wayne (Ruby) Johnson; siblings Louise (Ernest) Burnett, Joe (Sara) Edmondson, Margaret (Jim) Bailey and William Edmondson. Also surviving are grandchildren: Jessie Johnson, David Johnson, Kari (Jordan) Affourtit and Kyle Johnson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Her grandchildren along with Ted Floyd and Larry Alderman will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers: Charlie Huff, Don "Rooster" Greene, Jim Bishop, Charles West and the Mt. Juliet Church of God Senior Sunday School Class.

She is preceded in death by son Timmy Johnson, first husband Russell H. Johnson, parents George K. and Katie Pearl Yarbrough Edmondson and siblings Mabry, Elmer, Robert, Ray, David and Albert Edmonson.

Sellars Funeral Home, 313 W. Baddour Pkwy, Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.

Myrtle A. Allen, 65

LEBANON -- A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, June 5 at the JC Hellum Funeral Home, 107 Stokes Street, for Mrs. Allen, 65, of Lebanon.

Born August 20, 1943 to the late Jessie and Sallie Lee Robertson, she died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Skyline Medical Center.  Educated in the Wilson County public schools, Mrs. Allen was employed by TRW for 15 years.

Services will be conducted by eulogist Christopher Corder. Her remains were cremated.

Survivors include husband Sidney Allen, Sr.; sons Frank, Freeman (Deborah) and Daniel Corder; daughter Kiyawna L. Crabbe. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren; brothers James (Hattie) and John Robertson; sister-in-law Gwendolyn Faye Allen; daughter-in-law Andrea Calhoun; devoted aunt Ruth Ann Grady; devoted friends Mary C. Green and Lucy Patton; as well as other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughters Barbara and Deborah Corder; sister Catherine Robertson.

Nancy C. Locke, 62

NASHVILLE -- Funeral services were held Thursday morning, June 4 at the Mount Olivet Funeral Home for Mrs. Locke, 62, of Mt. Juliet. A loving mother and grandmother, Mrs. Locke died May 31, 2009 following an auto accident.

Services were conducted by Brother Bruce Grubbs. Interment followed in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Survivors include: children Michelle (Kevin) Hadden, Kristin (James) Herren and Ronald Steven Locke; grandchildren: Nick, Caleb, Jessalyn, Cassidy, Jacob, Caitlyn, Calyie Hadden, Emma and Ethan Herren; three brothers and two sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Ronald Locke and grandchild Matthew Hadden. Family and friends served as pallbearers.

Mount Olivet Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Patricia Gross, 70

LEBANON -- Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time for Mrs. Gross, 70, of Lebanon.

She died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Nashville’s St. Thomas Hospital.

Disyal Funeral Home, 400 E. Market Street, Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.
