LEBANON — A memorial service will be held at a later date for Mrs. Churchwell, 83, of Lebanon. She passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2009.
Survivors include daughters Charlene Bowling of Wichita, KS and Beverly (J.L.) Robison of Gallivants Ferry SC; sisters Betty Harmon and Leved Dew; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; foster-son Carl Pearson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by husband George Barton Churchwell, sons Jimmy Balling and Charlie Balling and parents James Henry and Elsie Ruth Bradshaw Bateman.

LEBANON – Funeral services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, November 14 at the Sellars Funeral Home for Mr. VanHook, 79, of Lebanon. The son of the late Walter and Ida Myrtle Reed VanHook, "Buddy" died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009.
The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home Friday from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the funeral. Services will be conducted by Brother Don Owens. Interment follows in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include children: Linda (Ricky) Norton of Watertown and Duane (Marlene) VanHook of Lebanon; brothers: Paul (Linda) VanHook of Lebanon and Larry (Judy) VanHook of TX.
Also surviving are grandchildren: Michael (Jennifer) VanHook, Blake (Jaime) Williams, and Chrissa Norton; great-grandchildren Maghan and Ethan Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will serve as pallbearers.
In addition to his parents, Mr. VanHook is preceded in death by wife Betty Sue Odum VanHook, , brothers Robert, Harold Dean, Billy, Kenneth and Houston VanHook.

OLD HICKORY – Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, November 13 at Hermitage Memorial Gardens for Mr. Williams, 71, of Mt. Juliet. He died Tuesday, November 10, 2009.
Mr. Williams was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was the son of the late, Edward Gordon and Cornelia Patrick Williams. Services will be conducted by Brother Joe Nelms.
Survivors include: wife Dawn Boyd Williams and children: Darrell (Sally) Williams, Roger Williams, Doug Williams, Damon Williams, Terri Williams and Daphne (J.B.) Hasting.
Also surviving are grandchildren Tasha Hasting, Patrick Hasting, Brittany Williams, Michael Williams and Drew Williams; great grandchildrenCadence Williams, Szandor Bennett and Jonalyn Bennett.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was also preceded in death by his brothers, Ray Williams and Raymer Williams. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 1400 Donelson Pike, Suite B-5, Nashville, 37217.

MT. JULIET — Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, November 12 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Ms. Plemons, 28, of Mt. Juliet. She passed away Nov. 9, 2009.
Services were conducted by Brother Robert McFarland. Interment followed at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: her father Jim Plemons; step-mother Renee Plemons; siblings Chris Plemons, Jimmy O’Nell, Crystal Allen and Kelly Connor. Also surviving are two step-brothers; grandparents Kelly Brown and Bob Ranard; aunt Linda Racy; uncle Shawn (Heral) Landrum; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins along with her loving nurses.
Ms. Plemons was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Landrum Plemons and grandparents Mary Brown and Retha Ranard. Family and friends served as pallbearers.

LEBANON — Funeral services were held Thursday evening, November 12 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mr. Naff, 57, of Lebanon. A Virginia Tech graduate and an accounting manager with Western Plastics, "Bill" died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009.
Services were conducted by Jeff Reynolds. Interment will take place Saturday, Nov.14 at the Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Roanoke, VA.
Survivors include: wife Connie Naff of Panama City and daughter Alicia Danielle Naff of Florida.
Also surviving is sister Charlotte Naff (Boyce) Thompson; nieces Virginia Thompson and Dr. Caroline Thompson; sister-in-law Pat (Charles) Mullins, brother-in-law Carlton (Whitney) Dudding and nephews Jack and Gates Dudding as well as a host of family, friends and co-workers. Also dear to Mr. Naff were his canine friends, Little Anne, Buttons (Dewdrop) and grandpuppy Lucy.
He is preceded in death by parents Erman Lane and Hybunia Naff. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association.
