Betty Klein, 84

MT. JULIET -- Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, February 28 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Mrs. Klein, 84, of Mt. Juliet. Formerly of Chicago, IL, she passed away Feb. 23, 2010.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday 3-8 pm and Sunday from 12 Noon until time of service. Interment will follow the service at the Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

Beloved survivors include: children Linda (Palmer) Smith, Orville (Arlene) Garrett and Debra (Henry) Chrusciel; sister Mary Lou (Carl) Spiller; grandchildren Buddy (Rita) Saylor, Myrna Alfich, Wendy (Todd) Hudson, Jeffrey (Kelly) Chrusciel and Russell (Karna) Chrusciel; step-grandson Joe Wooldridge; great-grandchildren Linda (Jason) Pawlik, Christy Saylor, Buddy Saylor, Jr., Christina Alagna, Nick Alfich, Melanie Alfich, Brandon (Lisa) Saylor, Emma Chrusciel, Annika Chrusciel, Sadie Chrusciel, Lucy Chrusciel, Madison Chrusciel, Kyle Chrusciel and Ryan Chrusciel; great great-grandchildren Preston Saylor and Keira Pawlik; along with several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Klein is preceded in death by husband Bernard Klein; siblings Catherine Hapl and Edward Cox; and grandson Kenny Saylor.  Arrangements by Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet.

David William Murphy Sr., 70

LEBANON -- Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Febuary 27 at the Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway for Mr. Murphy, 70, of Lebanon.

He attended Landmark Pentecostal Church, loved antique cars, and was an artist. Mr. Murphy died Feb. 23, 2010. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 4-8 p.m. Friday and for one hour prior to service on Saturday. 

Services will be conducted by Brother Val Johnson. Interment will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include: daughter Karen (Craig) Rogers of Lebanon; son David Murphy Jr. of Florida; siblings Donald (Linda) Murphy of Texas, Patricia (Ron) Sager of Alabama and Susan (Sidney) Dalton of Ohio; grandchildren Noah Murphy and Elizabeth Rogers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by parents Thomas and Dorothy Law Murphy and niece Bonnie Palmer.
Pallbearers: Ron Sager, Sidney Dalton, Tony Gutierrez, Pablo Gutierrez, Jacob Johnson and Ron Shupp.

The family extends special thanks to Hartsville Convalescent Center. Arrangements by Sellars Funeral Home, 313 W. Baddour Pkwy, Lebanon.

Dawnmarie Wahl Toy, 34

MT. JULIET -- Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 27, 2010 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mrs. Toy, 34, of Mt. Juliet. She died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010.

Visitation will be 12-2 p.m. Saturday at Bond Memorial Chapel. Services will be conducted by Minister Darrell Blankenship.

Survivors include: husband Bill Toy and sons Josh Toy, Billy Toy and Corey Walden -- all of Mt. Juliet.
Also surviving is mother Karen Zamrock of Ft. Eustis, VA; father David (Pat) Wahl of Anniston, AL and brothersDavid Wahl of Ft. Eustis, VA and Keith Wahl of Anniston, AL.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, 38105-1942.  Bond Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Sabra McNeely Jones, 86

LEBANON -- Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, February 27 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mrs. Jones, 86, of Lebanon. Born in Union County to the late Douglas and Sarah McCarty McNeely, she died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro.

She was an apartment manager for many years and a member of the Oakland Baptist Church in Sweetwater.  The family will receive friends Saturday 1-3 p.m. Services will be conducted by Bro. Bob Curtis, Entombment will be in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Survivors include: children Sheila Wood of Seneca, SC; Sharon Moore of Cleveland; Sandra (Armando) Trujillo of Loxahatchee, FL; John (Gayle) Jones, Jr. of Birmingham, AL; Jim (Pam) Jones of Lebanon and Selena (Bob) Cunningham of Murfreesboro. Also surviving are sisters Ruby McNeely of Knoxville and Grace (Gene) Krumnacher of Loudon; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years John Harvey Jones, Sr.  Pallbearers: Mark Wood, Jason Jackson, Ryan Jones, Kyle Jones, Jason Cline, Chris Aytes and Matt Norton. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Wilma Ray Batey, 67

WATERTOWN -- Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, February 25 at the Hunter FUneral Home for Mrs. Batey, 67, of Watertown. Born in DeKalb County, the homemaker died Feb. 23, 2010.

Services were conducted by Brother Roger Grisham with burial at the Hillview Cemetery. Survivors include: her husband of 51 years Billy Anderson Batey, mother Martha Jenningg, brother Larry (Cassie) Bain and children: Billy (Tracy) Batey, Dean (Cindee) Batey, Joe Batey and Sissy (Jimmy) Cozart.

Also surviving are grandchildren Kezney, Kaitlin, Danielle, Brandy, Josh and Zachary Batey, Jan Cozart and Heather Johnson.; great grandchildren Natalie, Logan, Swanson, Kenya, Jordan and Carley Batey; along with special nieces Janet Presley, Melanie Young and other nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Batey is preceded in death by her father Ova Jay Bain, sister Linda Parrish and brother Roy Dale Bain.

The family wishes to thank Odyssey Hospice for their care. Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
