LEBANON -- Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 17 at the Maple Hill Church of Christ for Mrs. Watson, 84, of Lebanon. Former executive vice-president with First Tennessee Bank (formerly Lebanon Bank), she died Tuesday Apr. 13, 2010 at University Medical Center.
The daughter of the late John Robert & Ida White Johnson, Mrs. Watson was a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ and was in the banking business for 49 years. She was a member and served on the Board of Directors for the Lebanon / Wilson County Chamber of Commerce, she served on the original Board of Directors for University Medical Center, member of the National Association Bank Women, the Lebanon Kiwanis Club, Girl Scouts of America and the the Birthday Girls.
Visitation will be Friday 6-8 p.m. at the Partlow Funeral Chapel; Saturday 10 a.m. until funeral services at the Maple Hill Church of Christ.
Services will be conducted by Brother Wayne Miller. Interment wil follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: son Tony (Tonyia) Watson; grandsons Daniel Watson and Evan Watson; siblings Ernest Johnson and Jamie J. Halbert along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Watson is preceded in death by husband Mac R. Watson; two sisters and three brothers.
Active pallbearers: Bob VanHooser, Robert Thorne, William McGowan, David Foutch, Frank Dudley, Chuck Lowe and Bob Lowe. Honorary: Robert Springer, Gene Jones, Dave Smith, Tim Stephens, Bill Dodson, Dr. Joe Bryant and The Birthday Girls.

WATERTOWN -- Funeral services have been scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 14 at the Hunter Funeral Home for Mr. Hall, 77, of Watertown. A retired truck driver and a native Wilson Countian, he died Apr. 10, 2010 at his residence.
A US Army veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Hall was a member of the Watertown Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a member of Am Vet, a longtime member of the VFW and the North American Hunting Club.
The family will receive friends Wednesday prior to the funeral. Services will be conducted by Rev. Rodger McCann with burial at Wilson County Memorial Park.
Survivors include: his wife of 55 years Betty West Hall and children Sherrie (Hank) Gore of Hendersonville, Wesley (Tiwanda) Hall of Watertown and Mike (Gina) Hall of Abilene, TX. Also surviving are six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by parents Everette Hall & Effie Williams Hall, stepmother Lola Hall and siblings Doris Barney and Charles Hall.
Pallbearers: Tony Griffith, Chris Corley, Clint Butcher, Bob Lawson, Bob Smith, Dale Corley, Jerry Johnson and Robert Keith. Honorary: Jim Horn and friends from the Dining Car Restaurant.

MT. JULIET -- A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 14 at Cook’s United Methodist Church, 7919 Lebanon Road, for Mr. Hubbard, 55, of Mt. Juliet. A member of Cook’s UMC, he died Friday, Apr. 9, 2010.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Services will be conducted by Pastor Lee Wade Stephenson.
Survivors include: wife Margaret Mastrototaro Hubbard of Mt. Juliet; mother Patricia Sargeant Boozer of Hendersonville, NC; siblings Richard Hubbard of Rocky River, OH; Robert Hubbard of Cincinnati, OH and Vicki M. Manke of Hendersonville, NC.
He was preceded in death by his father David Grant Hubbard and step-father Vale T. Boozer. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cook’s United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.

BAXTER – Private services were held at a family cemetery in Baxter for Mr. Jared, 64, of LaVergne.
Born July 15, 1945 in Detroit, MI, “Bert” died April 6, 2010. The son of the late Edgebert Jared and Peggy Jared, he served in the US Air Force as an Airman First Class specializing in Fire Protection and Rescue from 1962 to 1968.
He then worked as an ASE Certified Mechanic for 27 years. After that, he enjoyed being a part of his grandchildren’s lives as they were growing up.
Survivors include: wife Darlene Worthington of LaVergne; children Robert Dale Jared and Kimberly (John, Jr.) Roberson; sister Gail (Wayne) Crook of Lebanon; grandchildren John Jared "J.J." Roberson and Bethany Alicia Roberson -- both of Murfreesboro.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Jared is preceded in death by brothers Gary Jared and Kent Jared.

MT. JULIET -- Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 14 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mr. Hamblen, 81, of Mt. Juliet. The owner of Don’s Lawn Mower and Radiator Shop and a member of Baker’s Grove Baptist Church, he died Sunday, April 11, 2010.
Mr. Hamblen was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War and was the son of the late Will C. and Rosie Sullivan Hamblen.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at Bond Memorial Chapel Services will be conducted by Brother Jason Rounsaville. Interment with military honors will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: his wife of 48 years Mary Ann Hamblen; sisters Joyce (Charles) Hamblen and Faye (Kenneth) Donnell; grandchildren Lindsey (William) Hamblen Castello and Tyler Hamblen; great grandchild William Gage Castello and brother-in-law John Alton (Dona) Smith.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son Donnie Hamblen and his mother-in-law Mary Elizabeth Smith.

LEBANON -- Graveside funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, April 10 at the Wilson County Memorial Park for infant Cherry, of Brush Creek. The son of Annajane Cowan Cherry and Jerry Lee Cherry, Jr., he died Thursday, Apr. 8, 2010 at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage.
Services were conducted by Brother Tolley Cantrell. Survivors: parents Annajane and Jerry Lee Cherry, Jr. of Brush Creek and brothers Dalton and Kaden Cherry; grandparents Carlene and Jerry Cherry, Sr. of Watertown and Randy and Janie Cowan of Sparta; honorary grandmother Karen Woosley in addition to many aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones.
He is preceded in death by maternal grandmother Teresa Cowan.

MT. JULIET -- Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 14 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Mr. Sikes, 73, of Lebanon. A CPA and owner of ABS Financial Services in Hermitage, he passed away April 10, 2010.
Mr. Sikes was a US Navy veteran and an avid Tennessee Vol fan. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service. Services will be conducted by Bishop Eugene Weakley, Bro. Marion Caruthers and Rev. Richard Neal. Interment will follow at the Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years Clara Sikes and daughter Trudie (Freddie, Jr.) Weston. Also surviving are sisters Wanda Johnson, Peggy (Dennis) Goodner and Joyce Atkinson; grandchildren Amber Venable, Brooke (Jonathan) Hines and Ethan Weston; great-grandson Weston James Hines; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Sikes was preceded in death by parents Lodie and Willie Minnick Sikes; daughter Lisa Casas; brother Jerry Wayne Sikes; sister Madge Sikes.

WATERTOWN -- Funeral services are planned for 4 p.m. Thursday, April 15 at the Round Lick Baptist Church for Mr. Martinez, 73, of Hartsville.
Born in Tererro, New Mexico, he died Apr. 10, 2010 at Nashville's Vanderbilt Hospital. A veteran of the US Air Force, he was the son of Gabriel and Odessa Ballard Martinez.
The family will receive friends Wednesday between the hours of 5-8 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home and Thursday from 12 Noon until the service at Round Lick. Services will be conducted by Rev. Steve Mayle. Burial with military honors will be at the Jones Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include: wife Verna Favella Martinez of Watertown and sons: Preston (Nancy) Martinez of Watertown, Mike (Ruthie) Martinez of Colorado, Jerry (Jana) Martinez of California and Danny (Candace) Martinez of Hartsville.
Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, siblings: Evelyn Heman, Gabriel (Elvira) Martinez, Edward (June) Martinez and Jerry (Carolyn) Martinez along with several nieces and nephews.

LEBANON -- A memorial service for Mrs. Johnson, 67, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 17 at the home of her daughter on Rocky Valley Road, Lebanon. The family requests no flowers please.
Mrs. Johnson, a Lebanon homemaker, passed away Sunday, Apr. 11, 2010, at the home of her daughter. Born August 6, 1942, in Casper, Wyoming, she was the daughter of the late J. E. and Velma Bussear Brown.
Survivors include daughter Holly Sue Benjamin of Lebanon; sister Sandra Frazier of Laramie, WY; brother Robert Dennis Brown of Cheyenne, WY; and half-sister Bonnie Dougherty.

LEBANON -- A memorial service was held Monday morning, April 12 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Ms. Brett of Pensacola, FL, formerly of Lebanon. A member of the College Hills Church of Christ in Lebanon, she died Friday, Apr. 9, 2010.
She attended Gulf Breeze United Methodist in Pensacola and was employed by Jackson’s Restaurant.
She was the owner of Ad Specialties and served on the Board of Director’s for the Alzheimer’s Family Services as well as Pensacola’s Little Theatre Guild.
Services were conducted by Dr. Larry Locke.
Survivors include: daughters Valerie (Ray) Russenberger of Pensacola, FL; Virginia Lynn Jones (Patrick) Woodard of Woodstock, GA; Kathi Brett Overton of Hixson and her “Florida daughter" Kathy Meehling.
Also surviving are grandchildren Michael and Alex Woodard, Rhett Russenberger, Rachel (Stephen) Mosley, Lauren Russenberger, Stephanie (Nathan) Hess and Sara Beth Russenberger; sisters Margaret Nelson of Lebanon and Virginia Hale of Hermitage as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank B. and Leola Smith White; aunt Eddie Smith Clay; sister Sarah White Tucker; the father of her children William Valentine Jones Jr.; and former husband Robert D. Brett. Partlow Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
WATERTOWN -- Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, April 12 at the Hunter Funeral Home for Mr. Oakley, 60, of Maryville. A Wilson County native and a 1967 graduate of Watertown High School, he died Apr. 8, 2010 at his Maryville residence.
A graduate of the Hartsville Vocational School, he was a former employee of Eldon Corp, Rubbermaid Division in Nashville and Delta Corp., in Hot Springs, AK.
Services were conducted by Pastor John Hunn and Carl Jones. Burial was at the Wilson County Memorial Park.
Survivors include: father James K. (Claydene) Oakley of Lebanon and aunt Jean Harden (Dick) Milbrandt of Wisconsin.
He is preceded in death by his mother Louverna Brown Harden Oakley, brother James Patrick Oakley, grandparents J.B. and Alla Mae Patterson Oakley and William Loy Harden and Flora Trammel Harden Shannon. Hunter Funeral Home, Watertown, was in charge of arrangements.
