LEBANON -- A celebration of life for Mrs. Waller, 82, of Lebanon, will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, August 14 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel.
Born in Gordonsville March 3, 1928, to the late Garland County Hesson and Geneva Odell Thompson Hesson, she died Aug. 10, 2010, at the Pavilion. Mrs. Waller worked at DuPont in the early 1950’s with two of her sisters until she married Hershel Waller in 1954.
She was a babysitter/grandmother to many children in the 1980’s. She was a long time member of Covenant Fellowship Church of the Nazarene in Mt. Juliet and First Church of the Nazarene in Lebanon and was one of the charter members of Lebanon's Westview Church of the Nazarene.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Services will be conducted by Brother David Hesson. Interment will be in the Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: husband Hershel Lee Waller; children Lynne (Jim) Sutton and Lance (Patty) Waller, and precious grandsons (as she called them): Austin (11), Braxton (9) and Corbin (5) as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings: Olaf Hesson, Aram Hesson, Louise Hesson Fuller Whited, Paul Hesson, Mavoline Hesson Glover, Olive Hesson Henley and Andrew Hesson.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Lebanon's Partlow Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
