LHS season tickets -- Season tickets for the 2010 Lebanon High football home schedule go on sale at Monday, Aug. 2 the LHS main office. Tickets will be available between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Reserved season tickets are $40 each; two rows of chairback seats are available at $50 per seat with general admission season passes available for $30. The Blue Devil home schedule includes: the home opener vs. Rossview Friday, Aug. 27, the homecoming game vs. Portland Sept. 17, Mt. Juliet on Oct. 1, Gallatin Oct. 22 and Station Camp (Senior Night) on Oct. 29.
Register online for WWBA -- Registration forms and information for the West Wilson Basketball Association are at www.wwbabasketball.com. Boys and girls (age 6 - 18 by Sept. 30) zoned for Mt. Juliet schools, Southside, are eligible. Fee is $90 per child before Sept. 11 at 1:01 p.m. Fee for late signups is $110 and players will be placed on a waiting list. No registrations will be accepted after Sept. 14.
Hunter ed. classes offered -- TWRA hunter education courses are scheduled for Sept. 17-18 and Oct. 15-16 at the Wilson County EMS training center on Oak Street in Lebanon. Class times will be 6-9:30 p.m. Fridays and 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays. Class size is limited to the first 50 students who pre-register, which is required. Students must be at least 9-years old and have their social security number on the first day of class. Anyone born after Jan. 1969 must have completed a hunter education course to legally hunt in Tennessee. Call 781-6622 to register.
CU season tickets -- Cumberland football will offer three season ticket packages for the 2010 home schedule, which begins Saturday, Sept. 11 against Campbellsville University at Lindsey Donnell Stadium. Reserve season tickets cost $75 if purchased before Friday, September 3 and $90 thereafter. Reserve seats for each game are $15 per person. A general admission season ticket may also be purchased for $40 by Sept. 3 and $48 before the first contest. Fans may also purchase a Season Pass for $125, which offers general admission to all home football and basketball games for the 2010-11 academic year. Four-man scramble -- The Hunters Point 4-Man Scramble, a bring your own team event, is set for Saturday and Sunday, September 18 and 19. Entry fee is $280 if paid by Sept. 17. A fee of $20 will be added for any registration after the 17th. Tee times will be scheduled on Saturday with a shotgun start on Sunday. Call the pro shop at 444-7521 to secure a spot for your team.
