EMPLOYEES RETURN TO WORK
By PATRICK HALL, The Wilson Post
Wilson County Circuit Court Clerk Linda Neal rescinded an order of termination on Friday, Sept. 3, allowing the five employees whom she fired on Aug. 31 to return to work.
Neal released a statement through attorney Jack Lowery on Monday, which explained her reasons for rescinding the order, but not her reasons for terminating the employees. By rescinding the order, the employees may return to work at their respective positions.
“The effect of this rescission order will allow them to resume their positions as deputy court clerks without any loss of salary or benefits,” read Neal’s statement.
