LEBANON -- Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 at the Partlow Chapel for Mrs. Smotherman, 62, of Lebanon.
A Baptist and nurse tech, she died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010 at University Medical Center in Lebanon.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the funeral.
Services will be conducted by Brother John Petree will officiate the services. Interment will follow at the Jones Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include: her husband of 32 years Jerry Smotherman of Lebanon; father Bridges (Katie) Carpenter and mother Betty (Wayne) Smith; children Randy Mangrum, Angie (Glen) Sevier and Kymberly (Kelvin) Caldwell.
Also surviving is brother Scott Hamlett; grandchildren Josh and Jermey Sevier, Kyle and Tyler Caldwell and Craig Mangrum.
She is preceded in death by son; Jeff Mangrum and sister Audrey Reed.
Pallbearers will be family.

LEBANON -- Funeral services for Mrs. VanHook, 85, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.
Mrs. VanHook, of Lebanon and a native of Wilson County, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at Quality Care Nursing Home.
The daughter of the late Glyde and Mary Thelma Clemmons Knight, she was a homemaker and a member of the Rocky Valley Baptist Church.
Visitation after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Services will be conducted by Rev. W. L. Baker, Rev. Jason Lohorn and Rev. Mark Rager. Interment will follow at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: children MaDonna VanHook (Gary) Ford of Pisgah, AL; Eugenia VanHook Raines; Ronnie (Teresa) VanHook; Lisa VanHook (Gary) Daniels and James Robert (Glenda) VanHook -- all of Lebanon; 12 grandchidren; 26 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 62 years Robert E. VanHook on January 1, 2005; and a son Jack Wilson VanHook.
Honorary pallbearers: special caregiver Tina Hutson; and the staffs of Quality Care, Regional Transportation and DCI.

LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 19 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Ms. Harris, 87, of Lebanon.
A native of Wilson County and the daughter of the late Coleman and Lissie Mofield Harris, she died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010 at Cedars Health Care.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Flat Rock Church of Christ.
Services were conducted by Brother Wayne Hunt. Interment followed at the Harris Family Cemetery.
She is survived by children Marie Harris and Donald Harris; and brother William Buck Harris -- all of Lebanon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Odis M. Harris.

MT. JULIET -- A memorial service was held Monday evening, Oct. 18 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Ms. Walpole, 95, of Mt. Juliet.
Known lovingly as "Little Marie", she died Oct. 14, 2010.
Services were conducted by Chaplain Judy Gray and Brother John Green.
Survivors include: brother William E. Walpole; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she thought of as her children.
Ms. Walpole was preceded in death by parents, Burnice and Gracie Pearl Walpole; siblings James Edward Walpole, John Walpole, Bernice "Botchie" Walpole, Earl Franklin Walpole, Ella Tennessee Walpole Wilson and Beulah Walpole; special aunt Augusta "Aunt Googie" Hardaway; sisters-in-law Vera Green Walpole, Elizabeth Cowley Walpole and Cora Reese Walpole; and brother-in-law Bill Wilson.

LEBANON -– Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Oct. 17 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mr. Holland, 81 of Lebanon.
A longtime CPA, he died Oct. 14, 2010 in the University Medical Center.
Born in Scottsville, KY, he was the son of the late Elbridge and Lou May Whitney Holland.
A 1948 graduate of Scottsville High School, he served in the US Army from 1950-1952
He earned a degree in accounting from Bowling Green Business College in 1956, then went to work for Ernst & Ernst in Lebanon.
Several years later, he bought the accounting business which he operated for 40 years. He was a member of the America Institute of CPAs, the Tennessee Society of CPAs and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Services were conducted by Rev. David Hesson and Rev. E.T Holland.
Survivors include: his wife of 60 years Helen W. Holland; children Ronny (Patricia) Holland and Nancy Holland; brothers John (Peggy) Holland & Rev. E.T. Holland; grandchildren Taylor and Ron Holland; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Johnny Clark, Cal Turner Jr., Sam Sherrill, Don Lancaster, Clyde Ingram and Paul Taylor. Honorary: Tom Parker, George Harding, Morning Coffee Group and Dr. Modupe Kehinde.

She passed away Oct. 17, 2010.
