Don Testamand, 68
LEBANON -- Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mr. Testamand, 68, of Lebanon.
Known by many as “Coach Poppy”, Mr. Testamand died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas in Nashville.
Born March 15, 1942, in Wilson County, he was the son of the late Hollis and Mary Mathes Testamand.
Mr. Testamand was a member of the Bethlehem Church of Christ and a 1961 graduate of Lebanon High School. He had worked for Amerigas as a repairman and hauler and coached softball at Tuckers Cross Roads for many years.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Services will be conducted by Brother Kenneth Head and Brother Jim Key. Interment will follow at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. 
Survivors include: his wife of 46 years Annette White Testamand; daughters Renee (Bob) Capitani, Regina (Randy) Leach and Kimberly (James) Demumbra; grandchildren Anna and Kenzie Demumbra and two brothers Melvin (Sandy) Testamand and Eddie (Connie) Testamand -- all of Lebanon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Beulah Mathis.
Pallbearers:  Mark, Cody and Clark Mathis, Doug, Douglas, Billy and Bob White.
Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home of Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
Frances Hurt, 69
MT. JULIET -- Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mrs. Hurt, 69, of Mt. Juliet.
Known as "Sissy" to her family and friends, she died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011. Mrs. Hurt was a member of Pathway Church of God.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bond Memorial Chapel
Services will be conducted by Pastor James Blair and Pastor Norman Corley. Interment will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: children Patty Childers (Dexter) Jones, Joel (Julie) Childers and Tina Childers Goodwin; mother Mattie Dunn Preston and siblings Clyde (Mickie) Preston, Bill Preston, James Preston, Betty (John) Brown and Bobby (Sherrie) Preston.
Also surviving are grandchildren Amanda Jones Sorey, Heather Childers Brakefield, Misty Jones Humphreys, Chad Childers and Allison Goodwin along with five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar B. Preston and her husband, Adam Hurt.
Active pallbearers will be Jason Sorey, Donnie Arvin, Casey Preston, Mike Corley, Nick Reese and John Brown.

Jeannie Coats Harwell, 60
MT. JULIET -- Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, Jan. 4 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Mrs. Harwell, 60 of Old Hickory.
A member of Highland Heights church of Christ, Mrs. Harwell died Jan. 2, 2011.
Services were conducted by Brother Michael Grooms, assisted by Brother Barry Keene. Interment followed the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens
Mrs. Harwell is survived by husband of 10 years Kenny Harwell; parents Brother Wayne and Elaine Coats; siblings Robert "Bob" (Jean) Coats and Gail (Larry) Lane.
She was preceded in death by brothers William "Bill" Coats and James "Bud" Coats.
Pallbearers: Seth Coats, Larry Lane, David Moncier, Stan Williams, Jim Byrd and Dr. Jack Fletcher. Honorary: Chance Coats.

John Kenwood Campbell, 80
LEBANON -- Funeral services with military honors will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6 at the Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway for Mr. Campbell, 80, of Lebanon.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mr. Campbell died Jan. 3, 2011.
The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 5 p.m. until the service.
Services will be conducted by Brother Terry Fesler. Interment and graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7 at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
Survivors include: wife Martha Campbell; children Leora Stratton, David Campbell and Ria (Darrell) Jenkins; sister Marilyn Evans; grandchildren Tyler Stratton, Kendra Campbell, David Campbell, Aaron Jenkins, Tabitha Jenkins and Tiffany Jenkins; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Mr. Campbell is preceded in death by parents Harry and Mary Creighton Campbell, brothers Creighton Campbell and Warren “Pat” Campbell, and son Eric Campbell.

Mary Long, 80
LEBANON -- Mrs. Long, 80, died Monday, Dec. 13 at University Medical Center.
Preceded in death by her dear husband C.L. Long, she was the daughter of the late Clint and Lena Jackson.
Survivors include: children Rhonda Cabrera, Etta Mae (Joe) Wilson, Gary (Sue) Long and Ronald (Barbara) Long; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Long is preceded in death by siblings George Jackson, Joe Jackson, Lorene Rogers, Annie Smith, Lottie Dean and Maybelle Jackson.

Mattie B. Thomas , 92
LEBANON -- A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7 at the JC Hellum Funeral Home for Ms. Thomas, 92.
Born May 7, 1918, she died Jan. 1, 2011 at the Imperial Manor Convalescent, Nashville.
Pastor Damon E. Bragg will serve as eulogist.
Survivors include: sister Sarah R. Ursery; nephews Patrick and Robert Ursery, Jr.; devoted cousins Sarah J. Bender and Robbin Morthel as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Services are in the care of JC Hellum Funeral Home, 107 Stokes St., Lebanon.
Mildred Lorene Hackney Webb, 83
MT. JULIET -- Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mrs. Webb, 83, of Mt. Juliet.
A member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet and an employee of Cain Sloan/Dillard’s for 35 years, Mrs. Webb died Monday, Jan. 3, 2011.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to service time on Friday
Services will be conducted by Rev. Billie Friel and Rev. Courtney Wilson. Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: children Brenda (Richard) Kuchinski, Debbie (Tom) Parkhurst and Odie Thomas “Tommy” Webb, III.
Also surviving are grandchildren Justin Parkhurst, Karen Kuchinski, Cindy Reeves and Julie Elliot along with great-grandchild Jonathan Parkhurst
Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her Roy and Beulah Edge Hackney and by her husband Odie Thomas “Joe” Webb, Jr.
Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers.

Sara Tucker Fortunato, 68

LEBANON -- A celebration of life will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Fortunato, 68, of Lebanon.
Known as "Owa" to her family and friends, she died Dec. 31, 2010.
The daughter of the late Leon and Virginia Lucille Fitzgerald Kelly, Mrs. Fortunato was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and was a hairdresser.
Visitation between the hours of 4-6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Partlow Chapel. Services will be conducted by Brother Donald Owens.A private graveside service will be held Friday, Jan. 7.
Survivors include: children Steve (Cara) Tucker of Acworth, Ga., Renea (Doug Jordan) Thompson and Rita (Cory) Misenhelter.
Also surviving is sister Martina Tyree; grandchildren Kandis Tucker, Reese Tucker, Matthew Kemp, Keisha Hulse and Kelly Thompson; great grandchildren Daniel Kemp, Nathan Kemp and Preston Smith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Joseph Fortunato.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
