Dona Arms Hudson, 91
Mt. JULIET -- Funeral services were held Monday morning, January 24 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Mrs. Hudson, 91, of Mt. Juliet.
A lifelong resident of Mt. Juliet, she died Jan. 21, 2011.
She was a member of Mt. Juliet church of Christ for over 60 years.
Services were conducted by Brother David Shannon. Interment followed the service at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: daughters Shirley (Bob) Butler of Hermitage, Linda Hudson and Joan (Jim) Parnell -- all of Mt. Juliet; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren as well as special friends Sarah Matthews, Brenda White and Tom Simons.
She was preceded in death by parents Palo Arms and Dolly Arms; husband David Lipscomb Hudson; three sisters and three brothers; and grandson Timothy D. Bingham.
Active pallbearers: Marc Butler, Scott Bingham, Aaron Butler, Austin Slater, Brandon Adcock and Cody Butler. Honorary: Joel Kendrick, Jim Parnell, Bob Butler and the Elders at Mt. Juliet church of Christ.

Drug roundup continues

An undercover investigation spanning more than three months resulted in the arrest of 12 alleged narcotics dealers Monday in a countywide drug roundup through combined efforts of the Wilson County Sheriff’s Department, the Lebanon Police Department and the FBI.

Wilson County Sheriff Terry Ashe said the department had about 35 indictments for approximately 30 individuals who were reportedly known drug traffickers and dealers in Wilson County.
