Crane is the choice at LHS

SPRINGER TO HANDLE DEFENSE

Troy Crane will be introduced as Lebanon High's new head football coach during Tuesday night's home basketball doubleheader with Mt. Juliet.

Crane, a Wilson Central faculty member, wrapped up his first season as quarterbacks coach in his second  stint on the football staff at Cumberland University. He previously was the wide receivers coach for the 2006 season at CU.

Crane will replace Bobby Brown as head coach after Brown resigned in mid-December following nine years in charge of the program. In that time Coach Brown compiled a record of 44-51 and four times took his team to the TSSAA playoffs.
