Wilson County stands to benefit financially from this week’s 40th annual CMA Music Fest now under way in Nashville, although by how much will not be known until after the annual event concludes.
Rickey Rodriguez, director of the Wilson County Convention & Visitors Bureau, said Thursday that Wilson County is definitely the beneficiary from visitors who travel to the music festival, formerly known as Fan Fair.
In reality, Middle Tennessee, which certainly includes Wilson, will have at least some impact economically as the 10th annual Bonnaroo music festival is also under way now through June 12 in Manchester.
