Derrick Widick, 85
LEBANON – Funeral services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 13 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mr. Widick, 85, of Lebanon. Born July 11, 1925, in Sumner County, he died Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the Gardens at Providence Place.
The son of the late Milton Luther and Annie Hodierne Widick, he was a printing press operator at Williams Printing Company in Nashville and was a member of the Maple Hill Church of Christ.
The family will receive friends Tuesday between the hours of 4-8 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo.
Services will be conducted by Joe Widick and Lane Widick.  Interment will follow at the Harpeth Hills Cemetery in Nashville. 
Survivors include: his wife of 64 years, Margaret Womack Widick; children Joe Derrick (Elaine) Widick and Tricia (Reed) Thomas -- all of Lebanon; Mary Margaret (Lee) Whitfield of Brentwood; brothers Richard (Evelyn) Widick of Birmingham, AL; Chris (Ann) Widick of Nashville and Billy (Judy) Widick of Brentwood; grandchildren Marty (Penny) Widick, Mary Anne (Kevin) Walton, Lane (Kristen) Widick, Laura Beth (Chad) High, Kathryn (Andrew) Phillips, Drew Whitfield and Jackson Whitfield; along with 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Bruce, James, Bernard, Jack and Francis Widick.
