Cecelia Arndt, 92

MT. JULIET -- Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 27 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Mrs. Arndt, 92, of Mt. Juliet. She passed away July 24, 2011. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 9-11 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: sons Edward Arndt, Jr., Ronnie Arndt and Alex Arndt; daughters Cecelia Mayhew, Beverly Jones, Pam Harvill, Tammy O'Neal and Catherine Cecelia Pierce; sister Regina Everett; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by parents Phillip and Isadora Kerrigan, Sr.; and husband Edward Arndt, Sr. Arrangements by Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet.

Katherine Vaughan Beard, 102

LEBANON -- Graveside services were held Friday morning, July 22 at the Cedar Grove Cemetery for Mrs. Beard, 102, of Fort Worth, Texas. Born April 1909, in Lebanon to the late John Curry Vaughan and Cornelia Gwynn Vaughan, Mrs. Beard She died July 16, 2011. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history at Cumberland University and was a member of Ridglea Presbyterian Church, Fort Worth Womans Club, Texas A&M Mothers Club and Fort Worth Osteopathic Hospital Guild. She enjoyed reading and playing games of any sort, especially bridge.

Survivors include: children John E. Beard of San Diego, CA and Judith Beard Reinhart of Austin, TX; grandchildren John E. Beard Jr., Kay Beard Lewis, Aaron Wesley Beard and Whittney Graham Beard; great-grandchildren Josh and Jacob Lewis, Ainsleigh and Aiden Beard; and great, great, granddaughter Avery Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman W. Beard Sr.; son Norman W. Beard Jr.; daughter Anne Beard; sisters Eloise Tyree, Alice McComb, Frances Robison; brothers R. Gwynn Vaughan, and Col. C. Ned Vaughan. Lebanon's Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pamela Sue Butler Hodges, 62

MT. JULIET -- Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday July 27 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mrs. Hodges, 62, of Mt. Juliet. A 35-year letter carrier for the Mt. Juliet Post Office, she died Sunday, July 24, 2011. Mrs. Hodges was a member of Center Chapel Church of Christ. Services will be conducted by Brother Darrell Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: children Chris (Rollinda) Hodges of Azle, TX; Michael Hodges and Tanya (Raymond) Hodges Alley -- all of Mt. Juliet; mother Viola Hammonds Butler of Lawrenceburg; siblings Willie Butler, Jr., Jimmy Butler and Melba Butler Brown -- all of Lawrenceburg; along with seven grandchildren and a great, grandchild. Mrs. Hodges was preceded in death by her father Willie Lee Butler, Sr. and her husband Leroy Hodges. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials are made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, 37203. Arrangements by Bond Memorial Chapel, Mt. Juliet.   

Peggy Westmoreland Campbell, 86

LEBANON Memorial services were held Monday evening, July 25 at the Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway for Mrs. Campbell, 86, of Lebanon. She passed away July 22, 2011.

Survivors include daughters: Melinda (Bill) Campbell, Melanie (Tommy) Crockett, Maryllew Campbell (Partlow) and Lisa (Buddy) Ingram; grandsons Michael (Paola) Partlow, James Daniel Partlow, Ian (Banica) Crockett, Andy (Keisha) Campbell and Nathan Campbell; step-grandsons Jacob Ingram and Tyler Ingram; granddaughters Maggie (David) Silvey, Mary Ellen Blackstone, Margie Patton, and Laura (Sam) Samal; and nephew Chris (Janelle) Gearing. She is preceded in death by husband Donald Llew Campbell. Arrangements by Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon.
