Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 21 at the Hermitage Hills Baptist Church in Hermitage for Mr. Davis, 78, of Mt. Juliet.
A longtime volunteer with Lifeway Christian Resources, Mr. Davis died Jan. 17, 2012.

Mr. Lasater, 58, of the Leeville community, went home to be with the Lord Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He is preceded in death by brother, Allen Wayne Lasater; paternal grandparents Ennis & Fannie Mae Lasater; maternal grandparents, Kelly & Lucille Ogle.
Survivors include: his wife of 35 years Patricia Ann Patty Lasater; son Phillip Wayne (Amber) Lasater; daughter Megan Elizabeth Lasater; parents Raymond & Sarah Lasater; twin sister Karen (Tom) Weaver; brothers Charles (Leigh Ann) Lasater and Myron (Dana) Lasater; mother & father in-law Leslie Jr. & Katherine Sullivan; sister-in-law Vicky (Eddie) Jones; brothersin- law John (Betty) Sullivan, Scotty Sullivan, Joe Sullivan and Shannon Sullivan as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lasater was a member and elder of Leeville Church of Christ, a retired aircraft inspector with Triumph/Vought Aircraft in Nashville, an avid pilot and mechanic.
Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 8 and 12 Noon until the service Thursday, Feb. 9 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel.
Services will be conducted by Bro. Doy Ott Hollman. Interment will follow at the Leeville Cemetery.
Active pallbearers: Larry Summars, Macky Glenn, Don Hoffmeister, Mark Barry, Paul Rotenberry and Jr. Sullivan. Honorary: co-workers, pilots, friends and fellow motorcyclists.
The family requests contributions may be made in Mr. Lasaters memory to the Megan Lasater Educational Trust Fund, c/o Wilson Bank & Trust.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9 at at the Nashville National Cemetery in Madison for Ms. Davis, 64 of Old Hickory.
The Mt. Juliet native died Feb. 4, 2012.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet.
Retired from the State of Tennessee, she was a member of the Green Street church of Christ.
