Ann Luttrell

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, June 28, at the Wilson County Funeral Home for Ms. Luttrell. She died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage.
Interment was in Wilson County Memorial Park.
Survivors include: daughters Roberta Luttrell and Kathy (Jerry) Dean -- both of Lebanon.
Wilson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Jesse Willie Crutcher, 79

Mr. Crutcher, 79, died June 15, 2012 at his residence.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 29 between the hours of 12 Noon - 1 p.m. at the JC Hellum Funeral Home with service to follow.
Interment is set for the Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
JC Hellum Funeral Home, Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.

Joseph H. Joe Stallings, 81

Funeral services for Mr. Joseph House Joe Stallings are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, July 1 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home. Mr. Stallings, 81, of Watertowndied Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Smith County Health Care Center in Carthage.

The family will receive friends Saturday between the hours of 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday as well as after 12 Noon Sunday at Ligon & Bobo.

Lewis Chapman Gillett, Jr., 75

A celebration of life, concluding with military honors will be between the hours of 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 2, 2012 at Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway for Mr. Gillett, 75, of Lebanon.

Known as "Lew" to his family and friends, Mr. Gillett departed this life on Saturday, June 23, 2012, surrounded by family. Born in Ayer, MA on November 29 1936 to the late Martha Karner Gillett and Lewis C. Gillett II, Lew graduated from Hopkinton High School in Massachusetts and enlisted in the US Navy in 1955.After graduating from NAPS he received a fleet appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, graduating in 1960.

Meet at the nature center for a scavenger hunt in our butterfly garden. Find miscellaneous items scattered about the garden that look out of place and check them off of your scavenger list.

1:00pm Survival Bracelet

Meet at the Nature Center and learn how to make your very own survival bracelet.

Erie inks with UT-Martin

Friendship Christian catcher Drew Erie signed an NCAA National Letter of Intent and scholarship papers Wednesday evening with the University of Tennessee at Martin, a member of the Ohio Valley Conference.

Erie, who hit .405 with 38 runs batted in as a senior, was part of a Commander baseball program that made four consecutive trips to the TSSAA Spring Fling -- including a runner-up finish in 2011. FCS finished the 2012 season 37-4 overall white back-to-back losses in Spring Fling.

He hit three home runs and seven doubles, while collecting 22 walks for an on base percentage of .513.
