Wilson County Emergency Communications District has been given authority from the legislative bodies of Wilson County, Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Watertown to issue all property numbers, or addresses, within their jurisdictions, effective today.
This basically puts all the government entities under the same interlocal agreement. The cities and the county will remain for naming the streets. They have nothing to do with the numbering, Wilson County 911 Director J.R. Kelly said.
