LEBANON -- Yalonda Davis and Casie Cowan each scored five points during an 18-0 run in the second half, as No. 6 Cumberland overcame cold shooting in the opening period and posted a 64-52 victory over Lindsey Wilson Saturday at the Dallas Floyd Recreation Center.
The Bulldogs (24-1, 15-1 Mid-South) couldnt catch a break around the basket in the first half and allowed the Blue Raiders (15-10, 6-9) to shoot 50 percent from the field in the period, including six second-chance points. CU made just 7-of-25 shots at one point in the opening half and trailed by 10 midway through the period before a 10-2 spurt highlighted by two 3-pointers from Briannica Tye left the home team down by a point at the break.

MT. JULIET -- Post players Sally McCabe and Ronjanae DeGray made life miserable for Wilson Central Friday as Mt. Juliet pulled out a 57-49 win.
McCabe scored 23 points and DeGray added 19 as the Lady Bears upped their regular season record to 19-7 / 12-2 in District 9AAA.
