Cracker Barrel cant appear in groceries

A temporary restraining order against Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. was issued Monday blocking the Lebanon-based restaurant from selling various foods carrying its name in groceries.

The order was handed down by a federal judge in Chicago who also issued an injunction against the company.

Cracker Barrel wanted to increase the presence of packaged foods carrying its name, such as hams and other items, and sell them in groceries and places like Sams Club and Costco and other establishments.

Johnson hired for FCS hoops

Former Commander student-athlete
Ben Johnson is returning to Lebanon to take over the boy's basketball head coaching duties at Friendship Christian School. Johnson is a 1999 graduate of FCS where he was a four-year letter winner for the Commanders.
He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in business education in 2004.

Johnsons coaching experience began in 2001 with the Friendship Christian School 5th/6th grade boys basketball team for one year and junior high baseball head coach for two years.
