Post to expand coverage in MJ

The Wilson Post will be expanding its presence in Mt. Juliet and West Wilson County starting the week of Aug. 12.

"Mt. Juliet is a very important market for The Wilson Post," said Wilson Post owner Dave Gould. "With the explosive growth happening in the western part of the county we thought this was the right time to improve our coverage and presence in Mt. Juliet and make it more available to readers."

UPDATED -- After almost 30 years as one of the most influential and respected members of the NAIA, Cumberland University is turning the page.

Teeter impresses at TTU

COOKEVILLE -- Talk about an extreme make-over. When Lebanons Parker Teeter graduated from Friendship Christian School back in 2010 he was a tall, lanky basketball player who also played wide receiver on the Commander football team.

After deciding to further his education at Tennessee Tech, he got serious about working out and his body began to respond.

As luck would have it, former Friendship Christian all-state quarterback Lee Sweeney (Class of 2005) spotted him on campus one day.
