Williams tabbed to represent Southwest Airlines passengers

Keith Williams, principle of Keith Williams Law Group and partner at Lannom & Williams in Lebanon, has been retained by passengers of Southwest Flight 345 who were treated for trauma after the flight endured a hard landing on July 22 at LaGuardia Airport in New York.

The plane carrying the passengers from Nashville to LaGuardia touched down on its nose gear and bounced violently several times and then skidded down the runway until coming to a stop in the grass. A report said that passengers were evacuated by the emergency chutes. Although some passengers were treated on the scene for physical trauma, others were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

WBMS 32, Carroll-Oakland 26

LEBANON -- Tez Gardner's 22-yard interception return for a touchdown in the closing minutes of play was the difference Tuesday night as Winfree Bryant defeated Carroll-Oakland 32-26 in middle school football.

WBMS improved to 2-3 on the season headed into a Thursday night home game with Algood from Putnam County.
