Wednesday service planned for McCluskey

Funeral services have been scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9 at the Hermitage Funeral Home, Old Hickory, for Mr. McCluskey, 90.

Chairman of the Wilson County Emergency Communications District 911 Board for 24 years, and for 31 years a highly-respected member of the Wilson County Commission, Mr. McCluskey died Sunday, April 6, 2014 Summit Hospital in Hermitage.

MJCA hires Davis to coach football

Mt. Juliet Christian Academy introduced Pearl-Cohn assistant Dan Davis as the new head coach of the Saints' football program in a press conference Monday, April 7 in the Stilts Sportsplex.

Davis, 39, is a native of Milwaukee, Wis., and played college football at Tennessee State University.
