Country’s Aaron Tippin at CF Cut-A-Thon

Guys and gals got their locks chopped on Wednesday for a good cause. Pulse Hair Salon in Lebanon conducted a Cut-A-Thon from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – with 100 percent of the proceeds going to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

CU, Georgetown to play for MSC title

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Cumberland and Georgetown (Ky.) are the final two teams standing in the 2014 Mid-South Conference Baseball Tournament being played at Egnew Park.

No. 2-seed Cumberland (39-17) enters the championship game as the lone unbeaten team left in the tournament while Georgetown (41-7) emerged from the consolation bracket after winning the nightcap Tuesday.

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Ricky Coleman and Sam Lind drove in two runs in the 10th inning supporting Kevin P. Greene's 4.2 innings of sparkling relief work, as Cumberland outlasted third-ranked Georgetown College 10-8 in the title game of the Mid-South Conference Championships Wednesday evening at Egnew Park.
