Reginald Lamont Searcy, 45

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Saturday, May 24 at the J.C. Hellum Funeral Home for Mr. Searcy, 45.
He died May 14, 2014 in Beaver, Utah.

Robert Alvis Jones, 74

Funeral services with military honors will be conducted 4 p.m. Friday, May 23 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mr. Jones, 74, of Old Hickory.  A veteran of the U.S. Army, he died May 21, 2014

A woman pleaded guilty recently for her part in trying to have her ex-husband killed by a hit man.

SPRING FLING -- WC softball eliminated

Knox Gibbs 4, Central 3 (8 innings)
MURFREESBORO -- Wilson Central’s run in the Class AAA state softball tournament came to an end Thursday morning as Knoxville Gibbs slipped past the Lady Wildcats 4-3 in eight innings at Starplex.
The loss wrapped up the second Spring Fling appearance in the history of the Lady Wildcats’ program with a record of 34-17.
