My longtime fishing partner, the late Harold Dotson, summed it up pretty accurately that beautiful summer day many years ago. A police boat, followed by a boat from TWRA had gone by us on J. Percy Priest at a high rate of speed. They were not chasing anyone so we knew it was a different situation.

Lebanon native Chris Hall has accepted a scholarship offer to continue his baseball career and education at the University of Tennessee.
    
Hall, a second team NAIA All-American at Cumberland University in 2014, will be eligible to play immediately for the Vols.

Trousdale County High baseball coach Eric Vetetoe will be the new head baseball coach at Lebanon High School.

A member of Cumberland University’s 2010 NAIA National Championship team, Vetetoe takes over for Tony Long who guided the Blue Devils to a 2014 record of 11-19 in his only season on the job.
