The name of the person who resided at a home that burned in a suspicious fire on Friday, but who has not been located, has been released.

Defense can't slow down Rebel runners
WINCHESTER -- Tailback Marce Gray rushed for 252 yards on 21 carries and scored five touchdowns to lead Franklin County to a 47-33 victory over Lebanon Friday.

The Rebels, now 1-1 on the season, ran for an incredible 514-yards on 55 carries against an inexperienced Blue Devil defensive unit.

'Cats fall 27-21 to LaVergne
GLADEVILLE -- A pair of fourth quarter touchdowns weren't enough as Wilson Central dropped a 27-21 decision to LaVergne Friday, Aug. 29 at Wildcat Stadium.

The Wolverines took a 27-7 lead with 9:51 left in the game, only to see Wilson Central score twice in the closing minutes on an 8-yard pass from Cody Ray to Zack Dover and a 5-yard run by Hunter Wilson.

ANTIOCH -- An opportunistic defensive unit staked Mt. Juliet to a 14-0 lead and helped pave the way for a 31-13 victory at Antioch Friday night.

Matt Massey opened the scoring with a 66-yard interception return for a TD in the first quarter and Peyton Haynes returned an Antioch (0-2) fumble 13 yards for a second period score.
