Herman Clay Martin, 89

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6 at Lebanon's Sellars Funeral Home for Mr. Martin, 89, of Lebanon. A US Navy veteran of World War II and a longtime fan of the UT Vols and Lebanon Blue Devils, Mr. Martin died Sept. 1, 2014.

Two CU students displaced by fire

STUDENT MINISTRY LEADERS
Local churches and the Cumberland community at large is reaching out to two students who have been displaced by the fire that destroyed the Baptist Student Center on S. Hatton Avenue.

Senior wrestler Tyler Smith from Calhoun, GA and Watertown sophomore Nick Sackman had been living in an upstairs apartment at the home, known for years as the Kenneth M. Tramel Baptist Student Center.
