A renewal of a cross-county rivalry is on tap tonight as the TSSAA football season reaches Week Six.

Winless Mt. Juliet Christian Academy comes to Lebanon to take on 4-1 Friendship Christian in an East-Middle District 1-A game. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Pirtle Field.

GALLATIN -- Lebanon High's ninth grade football team improved to 4-2 on the season following Thursday night's 40-36 victory over Gallatin at Calvin Short Stadium.

QB Dylan Alsup scored three touchdowns on runs of 10, one and and 20 yards while Ty Cooper added a couple of scores and a pair of two-point conversions.
