LEBANON -- The next new firehouse in Lebanon may be built on South Eastgate Court, according to approvals given by Lebanon City Council at its most recent meeting, but that doesn't mean construction will begin anytime soon.
The council voted to approve, on first reading, funding for consulting architectural, engineering and design services for the proposed fire house on South Eastgate.
Early voting in the Federal and State General Election and Wilson County General Election began Wednesday, Oct. 15.
The three early voting locations include: the Wilson County Election Commission in Lebanon, Gladeville Community Center and Mt. Juliet Community Center. Each location will be open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Oct. 30.

MT. JULIET -- Under Armour's coming to town, and Mt. Juliet city employees are excited.

CHATTANOOGA -- Region 3-4 champion Boyd-Buchanan earned a trip to the TSSAA Class A state tournament with a 3-0 sectional win over Watertown Thursday, Oct. 16. Game scores: 25-17, 25-17 and 25-11.
The Lady Bucs enter Wednesday's state tournament with a record of 34-12.
Watertown, the Region 4-A runner-up, closed out the year 16-15.
