LEBANON -- Playing with a heavy heart, Broc Loveless rushed for two TDs and threw for another, but Reinhardt amassed 275 yards on the ground in a 35-28 victory over No. 19 Cumberland Saturday at Nokes-Lasater Field.

Loveless' father, Mark, passed away suddenly Friday morning because of a heart attack, but the redshirt senior from Spring Hill made it back to town Saturday morning for the game, starting his next-to-last collegiate contest.

MURFREESBORO -- The numbers on the scoreboard read 53-0 as the final horn sounded in Oakland's blowout win over Mount Juliet, but the most impressive number of the contest may have been 16.

That was the amount of yards from scrimmage the Patriots defense allowed in its rout of the Golden Bears in the opening round of the Class 6A playoffs Friday, Nov. 7 at Ray Hughes Stadium.
