Funeral services were held Thursday morning, Feb. 5 at Immanuel Baptist Church for Mrs. Moore, 87, of Lebanon.
A Wilson County native and retired from Hargrove Office Supply, she died Monday, Feb. 2, 2015 at Lebanon Health & Rehab.

Carl R. Howard, 81

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, Feb. 5 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mr. Howard, 81, of Lebanon. Retired from the road building / excavating business and a U.S. Army veteran, he died Feb. 3, 2015.

Ted H. Waller, 95

A Celebration of Life service will be held 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9 at the College Hills Church of Christ for Mr. Waller, 95, of Lebanon. A minister for 50 years in Ohio and a member of College Hills Church of Christ, Mr. Waller died Monday, Feb. 2, 2015 at Hearthside.

On sleep and not getting any...

It started happening again. I can't sleep. Rather, I can sleep, I just can't STAY asleep.
This leads to a frame of mind that's an ideal breeding ground for worry production. So I worry. Worry about getting back to sleep turns into worry about work, bills, taxes, life insurance, dementia, cancer, Ebola, my car's engine light that keeps coming on, my oldest driving, even deflated footballs - stupid Tom Brady.

CU announces 24 football signees

Three from Central, 3 from Hoover, Ala. --
Cumberland football coach Donnie Suber released an initial listing of 24 signees who are expected to enroll this fall, including 17 from the state of Tennessee and eight from Middle Tennessee.

Three out-of-state signees hail from Alabama football power Hoover High School.
