MT. JULIET -- Liz Quinio's reverse layup with six seconds left proved to be the game-winner Wednesday afternoon as Rossview defeated Wilson Central 41-39 in the semifinals of the Region 5-AAA tournament at Mt. Juliet High. With the win, the Lady Hawks improved to 23-7 and earned a berth in Thursday's 6 p.m. region finals against District 9-AAA champ Mt. Juliet.

Lady Bears end season 32-3 --
MURFREESBORO -- An 11-3 run early in the fourth quarter helped No. 1-ranked Blackman hold off Mt. Juliet 58-48 in the Class AAA quarterfinals of the BlueCross Basketball Championships at MTSU's Murphy Center.

The loss was the first in 2015 for the Lady Bears and snapped a 22-game winning streak for the Region 5-AAA champions.
