While rehearsing with a church worship band in Mt. Juliet about 10 years ago, guitarist-vocalist Bill Kelly heard a sweet feminine voice that sent shivers through his musical soul.

Today, Kelly and Jennifer Kane, the woman behind the voice, blend harmonies in the duet Angel Armies, a unique yet simple Christian ministry that combines song and prayer to give hope and comfort to people confronting such crises as cancer, death, divorce and bankruptcy.

'Dogs make six errors in Sunday loss

Cumberland to host Union Tuesday
LEBANON -- Josh Beams doubled twice, drove in a pair of runs and scored twice and Marcus Howard scored three times, as Indiana University Southeast defeated No. 1 Cumberland, 15-9, in a three-plus hour seven-inning game Sunday at Ernest L. Stockton Field-Woody Hunt Stadium.

The second game of the doubleheader was called because of poor field conditions and approaching darkness after four complete innings and thus was not an official game. IUS was leading in that contest as well, 7-3.
