Weather concerns continue to hamper Cumberland's baseball schedule as this weekend's Mid-South Conference opening series at the University of the Cumberlands has been altered.

The original plan called for a standard Friday-Saturday slate with a single game on Friday followed by a doubleheader on Saturday in Williamsburg, Ky.

SEVIERVILLE -- Lebanon High's baseball team improved to 2-1 on the season after picking up a pair of wins Thursday in the Play for a Cure Tournament in Gatlinburg.

The Blue Devils defeated Alcoa 8-2 behind a strong pitching effort from lefty Zane Potter, then Jackson Arnold limited Sevier County to one earned run in a 5-2 victory over Sevier County late Thursday night.
