What a beautiful weekend we had, birds singing, flowers starting to bloom. Kind of makes you want to get outside and get a little dirt underneath your fingernails. I have a climbing rose to plant, right where it might hide my Direct TV satellite receiver. Those things can almost be an eyesore. They might even make a good wok to cook on, if you can get them clean enough.

Memory suppression is common for victims of sexual abuse. In 2012, popular morning drive radio personality MJ Lucas shared the story of her traumatic childhood publicly. She detailed the experience growing up in Florida with her young parents, both alcoholics, who were not at all equipped to care for themselves much less a small child.

Watertown High post player Dylan Speck signed scholarship papers Friday, April 17 with Bryan College -- an NAIA institution in Dayton.

Speck, a 6-7 senior, was an All District 8-A selection who averaged 17.9 points per game for the Purple Tigers.
