SOCCER -- Loucks to lead WCHS teams

Former Cumberland head coach
Jeff Loucks, former coach at Lebanon High and Cumberland University, will head the soccer program at Wilson Central High school.

According to athletic director / assistant principal Chip Bevis, Loucks will join the WCHS faculty as a chemistry teacher and will coach the girls team in the fall and the boys team in the spring.

JACKSON -- Friendship Christian's softball team stormed into the 2015 Spring Fling with a 13-1 victory at University School of Jackson Friday afternoon winning two games of the best-of-three sectional series.

The Lady Commanders take a record of 33-8 into next week's Division II state tournament.
