When I first met Judge Bob Hamilton (ret.), he was an up and coming lawyer with a penchant for reloading rifle bullets and running good bird dogs. We hunted quail together and he reloaded some Nosler Partition bullets for my deer rifle. They shot great and now and then, we killed a few quail.

CROSS COUNTRY -- Jenkins wins KYA state

Mt. Juliet Middle eighth grader
KNOXVILLE -- Mt. Juliet Middle School eighth grader Jalyn Jenkins won the Knoxville Youth Athletics Middle School state cross country meet Saturday, Oct. 24 at Victor Ashe Park. Jenkins posted a time of 12:24 on the two-mile course, besting a field of 294 runners.

Placing fourth was Friendship Christian School sixth grader Hope Ilias with a time of 12:44.
