Four Wilson County football teams will be in action Friday, Nov. 6 in the opening round of the TSSAA playoffs.
Class 2A Watertown (8-2) rode a 42-6 win over Westmoreland to earn a first round home game Nov. 6 vs. Chattanooga Tyner (7-3). Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Robinson Stadium.
Tigers thump Westmoreland --
WATERTOWN -- Overcoming three fumbles, Watertown dominated time of possession and thumped Westmoreland 42-6 Friday at Robinson Stadium, locking up second place in Region 4, 2A.
With the victory, the Purple Tigers improved to 8-2 on the season and earned a first round home game in the TSSAA playoffs. WHS will host Chattanooga Tyner (7-3) Friday, Nov. 6.
