GALTINBURG -- Lebanon's Devilettes dipped to 7-6 on the season following Wednesday's 62-29 loss to powerful Holmes High of Covington, Ky. in the finals of the Smoky Mountain Classic at Gatlinburg-Pittman High.

With the loss, LHS will take a few days off for the holiday until they play Monday afternoon, Dec. 28 in the Sonic Shootout at White County High in Sparta.

WHS goes 6-0 over 3 days
SMITHVILLE -- Coach Matt Bradshaw's Watertown High boys went 6-0 over a three-day span to win the DeKalb County Christmas Tournament Wednesday night.

The Purple Tigers (10-5) knocked off Monterey 65-54 in the finals, just a few hours after disposing of Red Boiling Springs 67-51 in the semifinals.
