LEBANON -- Friendship Christian opened the 2016 baseball season in dramatic fashion Monday evening with a 4-3 walk-off victory over Gordonsville.

Eighth-grader Jared Dickey rapped a one-out single off the glove of a Tiger infielder to drive in Jared Lowe with the game winner.

Reliever Chad Holcomb worked the last four innings to get the decision, taking over for starter Matthew Swann.
