The great crappie assault

It started March 26 and kicked off a continuation.

We that being the Judge and I, on 3-26, were fishing for bass in our secret hole that less than 1,915 people know about.

At that same time, some high-dollar crappie tournament was taking place out of Flipper's store/dock. Since we were not crappie fishing, we didn't care.

CASA -- Volunteer event held

Awards presented to eight
LEBANON -- Wilson County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) celebrated the men and women who make their work possible with a volunteer dinner on Thursday, April 7.

The dinner, held in the Stonebridge Clubhouse, offered volunteers a delicious meal and time to fellowship before a select few were honored for their commitment to CASA.

SOFTBALL
Watertown High pounded out 12 hits in a 15-0 run-rule home win over Trousdale County Tuesday.
Amber Wright led the offensive attack with a 4-for-4 effort while Alicia House, Lauren Webster and Bailey Griffin had two RBI each.
House was the pitcher of record -- allowing two hits and striking out five.
WHS stand 7-7 overall; 3-1 in District 8-A headed into a Monday, April 18 home game with Cascade.
