BASEBALL - WCHS hosts Bears

9-AAA game moved to 5 pm
Fresh off Thursday's 13-2 road win over Warren County, Wilson Central will host Mt. Juliet 5 pm Friday in the Glade for the final meeting of their two-game district series. The contest was moved up two hours due to weather concerns.

The Wildcats moved to 19-11 with the victory as Andrew Franklin drove in two runs with three hits and Dawson Hamilton had three RBI on a double and a single.

GLADEVILLE -- Wilson Central celebrated Senior Night with a thrilling 1-0 home win over Lebanon Thursday, improving to 10-3 overall, 5-1 in District 9-AAA.
Brannon Ketelson scored for WCHS in the opening minute.

The Wildcats play at Shelbyville Central Saturday in a 7 pm match.

Thursday prep results
Alicia House went 4-for 4 while Shelby Hamlet, bailey Griffin and House all homered in Watertown softball's 11-9 loss to Gordonsville Thursday in South Carthage. The Tigerettes were scheduled to play Saturday, but the East Robertson games have been canceled.

WHS back in action Wednesday, May 4 to close out the season with a 4 p.m. make-up game at Goodpasture.
